While TEDxEdmonton, set for June 11, is sold out, you can apply for the waiting list. Events in Victoria and Toronto in June still have places available. What did I do on my summer vacation? I went to a TEDx event somewhere in the world!
But you don't need to travel to experience a TEDx event live; many stream their events live on the web. Upcoming web events are listed here: http://www.ted.com/tedx. And check out the TEDxTalks Channel at YouTube for videos of inspirational speakers from hundreds of events. 2014 marks the 30th year of the TED Conference and TEDxRedDeer returned for a celebration like no other at the City Centre Stage (former Uptown Theatre) in downtown Red Deer on Saturday, November 22. Thank you Red Deer for your ongoing support!
